I have dealt with Gregg Hopkins at Vintage Amp Restoration for over a
year now and I can highly recommend his work. He has reconed speakers,
made me a reproduction Vibroverb cabinet, two Super Reverb baffleboards,
recovered and regrilled a blonde Tremolux, made a couple of repro back
panels for a Fender and Ampeg, and done a bunch of cosmetic work on some
The quality of his work is top notch, his prices reasonable and he is
very, very easy to work with (meaning he’ll do whatever you want). I
generally want EXACT reproductions and Gregg comes through everytime.
His attention to detail is scary.
